Our journey began when a vintage loving girl met the son of a jeweller - and together we fell in love with all things sparkly. We’re James and Ida Malena, the husband-and-wife duo behind Gold Curiosities. Together, we share a deep love for jewellery, design, and all things beautifully unconventional. With backgrounds in the jewellery world (and plenty of other creative ventures), we’ve built Gold Curiosities as a place to celebrate unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that have a story to tell.
We carefully source vintage jewellery that stands out. Pieces with character, craftsmanship, and history. Every item in our collection is handpicked for its charm, giving you something truly special that can’t be found just anywhere.
Need a perfect fit? We offer resizing services to make sure your jewellery feels just right. And if you’re after something custom, we’re happy to take on bespoke jewellery requests, creating designs that are as unique as you are.

Standard resizing
Already have pieces at home that need some adjustment? Send us an enquiry giving us details of your existing piece and sizing request and we will provide you a quote for the resize. If you are already purchasing one of our wonderful items then resizing is generally complimentary!
Repair and restore
Give your jewellery collection some extra attention to really bring out that sparkle. If you have items that could do with a repair or a restoration, our experienced jeweller can take care of this for you. Send us an enquiry with the details and we will give you a quote for the work.
Bespoke
Looking for something extra special? If you have not found the perfect item on our site we can most likely source it or make a bespoke item for you. We also offer engraving services and more. Send us an enquiry with the details of your dream piece and we will get to work sourcing it for you.
